RULE BOOK:

This is Mom and me looking at my rule book. I came with a manual and a training DVD. Mom says I am supposed to learn 30 things in a year and a half. I'm already getting a pretty good handle on "No!" I think I know what "Good girl" means.

This is me watching my training DVD. I don't really understand it.

CRADLING:

One of the things Mom is supposed to do every day is "Cradle" me which means put me on my back and rub my belly, legs, arms. It is one way she becomes top dog. It helps me be okay with someone like a vet examining me. I like it okay if I have something in my mouth to chew. Boy, I love to chew

WORKING OUTFIT:

This is my working outfit: a cape and a gentle leader (it's not a muzzle). I'm just getting used to it. Right now, I roll on my back to get my cape off, and rub my face. But they say I'll get used to it and even like having it on. It tells people I'm not a pet-I'm a working dog!

HERE!:

This is me doing "Here!" I love getting treats at the end of "Here!"

UNDER:

When I'm bigger, I will learn to go under things when Mom says "under." For now, I just go under on my own because it feels like a den and I like it and I'm small enough to do it.

SIT:

This is me doing a "sit." I sit real pretty, Mom says.

HURRY:

I have to learn to potty on command (how embarrassing). The command is "Hurry." Gee. Sometimes it's hard to hurry! But people in wheelchairs have to be able to tell dogs like me to potty before we go into stores and stuff. (Thank goodness Mom didn't put a photo on here of me hurrying!)
